Fantini Rubinetti

Fantini has been a family business since 1947, when brothers Giovanni and Ersilio Fantini founded it as a true Italian design factory. That's stayed true ever since — the company invests in product design the way other companies invest in advertising, and it shows in the list of designers who've worked with Fantini over the decades: Marcel Wanders, Piero Lissoni, Vincent Van Duysen, Naoto Fukasawa, and Michael Anastassiades among them.

The newest expression of that is Venezia, Fantini's collection built around handmade Murano glass handles — a nod to Venice's centuries-old glassmaking tradition, developed with legendary Murano glassmaker Venini and designed by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez. The glass comes in cobalt blue, white, red, black, and clear crystal, paired with metal finishes from polished nickel to matte gold, so each faucet becomes a genuinely distinctive object rather than just hardware.
