Franz Viegener's story starts in 1899 in Attendorn, Germany, where the company's namesake made brass beer taps. His son Francisco carried that craft to Buenos Aires in 1921, and FV grew into one of South America's largest faucet makers, eventually employing over 5,000 people across Argentina and Ecuador. The luxury, handcrafted Franz Viegener Collection launched in 1935 and is still built today by a small team of engineers and designers rather than a mass-production line, and the brand entered the U.S. market in 1992.
That range runs from traditional to contemporary — Nerea's simple, sculpted rings, Lollipop's industrial-modern knurled handles, Konic's balanced geometry, and more industrial-chic finishes with a touch of color — so there's real range for a designer working across very different styles under one brand.
We display Franz Viegener in our showroom, and with the brand making several recent changes to the line, we're giving our display a full refresh for 2027
