Kartners

Kartners has been building bathroom hardware just outside Vancouver, in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, since 2010. The company treats accessories — towel bars, robe hooks, door handles, the pieces that tend to get picked last — as their own design category rather than an afterthought, machining all of it from solid brass rather than lighter substitute metals.

That commitment to material shows up most in the finish options: Kärtners offers 27 of them, from nine core finishes stocked across the line to specialty options like Unlacquered Brass and Antique Nickel, both left intentionally unsealed so they develop a genuine patina from use rather than staying frozen under lacquer.

The catalog runs to more than 700 pieces organized into 37+ collections, each named for a European city and built so every piece in it — shower door handle, towel ring, cabinet pull — matches, letting a bathroom's hardware read as one coordinated decision instead of a dozen separate ones. We display Kartners in our showroom.
