Native Trails

Native Trails was founded in 1996 by Naomi Neilson, then a college student in central California, who set out to bring handcrafted work from undiscovered artisans in central Mexico to homes across North America, built on fair trade and sustainability from the start. The company found its footing with copper sinks — a hit at the National Kitchen & Bath Show in 2003 — and became the first company to get its copper sinks UPC-certified and IAPMO-listed, helping set the industry standard for the material. Still founder-owned, Native Trails earned B Corporation certification in 2019 — a third-party certification, held by only a small number of companies, that verifies a business meets high standards for social and environmental performance, not just profit.

The catalog has grown well past copper since, into NativeStone® concrete sinks and tubs, reclaimed wood vanities, fireclay, and Italian Murano glass pieces, alongside furniture and home décor — all still rooted in the same artisan-made, eco-conscious approach the company started with. This spring, Native Trails introduced the Concierge Collection, a line of kitchen workstation sinks in fireclay, NativeStone, copper, and nickel, each with a built-in ledge that holds a walnut cutting board and optional matching colander and drying rack.
